Evan,
Any update on the listening session? Number of people? Topics raised? Any information would be helpful.
Santos- I don’t particularly give two hoots about any member of the CA Board, but your patronizing tone is beginning to irk me. You offered some legitimate constructive criticism in the previous post, criticism that our host would be wise to follow. Why don’t you continue in that vein instead of coming off like a sore loser.
had enough,
Maybe b.santos is not a sore loser, maybe he is not patronizing. Santos offered constructive criticism, now politely posses questions, sounds civilized to me.
Evan, are you out of the blogging business? What's going on with the CA board?
Is there still a lot of infighting going on between the members of the Columbia Council? I see it has subsided in the public venue, I am curious if there is still bickering going on behind the scenes.
First Anon,
Sorry I haven't been posting much recently. CA has taken an immense amount of time and I have not had much time. I do intend to post more regularly, particularly when the downtown redevelopment plan comes out. I have been giving my fellow board members a chance to see what they can accomplish, so I have not posted much on that. I would like the whole board to move forward together to get things done for the people of Columbia and I thought I would see if they could. As a new member there was two approaches I could take: 1) charge forward and try to get things done or 2) see if the current system can work and if the current set of board members were able to set a positive course. I have now tried both. I have taken a lot of notes and learned a lot. I will let you know when I have decided the best way forward.
