So bring a blanket and a picnic dinner and enjoy the Lakefront before the county tries to build a road on the top edge of the grass amphitheater.

It's actually called Wincopin Circle...
I think there is one too many July 2nd's! I think the second one should be the 9th...
The county is currently proposing turning Wincopin Circle into Wincopin Street and running it through the Hug Statue Park, over the top edge of the Grass Amphitheater, and past the entrance of the Rouse Building. It is one of the many issues with the current downtown plan. I strongly suggest you read the Downtown redevelopment recap post on May 23rd.
The July 2nd situation has now been fixed. The danger of copy and paste.
It's a gross misstatement to call that area a park. Besides, unless they plan on diverting traffic with the specific intention of removing the amphitheater, most of that area is safe, as it lies between the Rouse and CA buildings.
Why is there no Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets?
But currently it is Wincopin Circle...

Chamber of Secrets was cancelled due to a conflict with the setup of another Lakefront event.
