Precinct Level Results
Also the Hedgehog Report has a good post about the stellar preformance (insert snarky tone here) of our glorious Board of Elections. I would love to have some insight on why things have been such a mess over there recently. Feel free to share insights in the comments or email me.

i would look at how much ground merdon lost in his district since 02
I was especially interested in the data on the Courtney Watson-Tony Salazar race in Council district 1 that was printed in last week's Flier. Although both Martin O'Malley and Ken Ulman had fewer votes in that district than their opponents, Watson won it fairly convincingly. She led in most of the 21 precincts, while Ulman led in six and O'Malley in only three. So she outdid her Democratic running mates at the vast majority of precincts. But it was intriguing to see how much better Ulman did than her at the two Centennial Lane precincts (2-5 and 2-10) and that the only precinct where O'Malley ran significally better than Ulman was at St. John's Lane (2-6). The appearance is that, while Watson is quite popular in the district as a whole, there are some people in the Centennial area who don't like her very much. Of course, she overcame it elsewhere. And it's obvious that some people in the St. John's Lane area were especially targetting Ulman for defeat. As an Ulman supporter, I'm pretty happy that other precincts didn't exhibit as much antipathy.
and i think st. johns lane is also steve wallis home precinct so he obviously got a good chunk there
