CA Board Organization
At tonights CA meeting Barbara Russell was elected Chair and Phil Kirsch was elected Vice Chair. Committee Assignments were also made. They are:

Oh Boy!
Oh Boy is right!
I am interested to hear what you have to say about Mike Cornell abstaining from voting on the Board Chair. I believe that he has done everyone in River Hill a disservice; they did not get a voice in that election. Abstaining should never be used; it is a sign of ignorance of the topic at hand.
I hope Barbara understands her role as Board Chair and does not take it lightly. One of her chief roles now is to run an efficient meeting, which means that she can’t let members ramble on all night long. I keep hearing her talk about letting people talk and hearing out everyone’s opinion. I hope this means that she will listen to those not belonging to CCD.
I think that the choice of Barbra for Chair was a bad vote and am not looking forward to the disenfranchisement of certain board members.
Maybe leadership will make her grow beyond her former self. Greatness has been thrust upon more difficult people :-)
