Readers Feedback
This blog is coming up on its one year aniversary this weekend and I would like to hear from you how you first found out about this blog? Did you read about it in a paper? See a link from another blog? Find it on a google search? Hear about it through friends? See a flier at an event?

Flier at event.
Great! I was wondering if those worked. May I ask which event?
I believe I first saw your site mentioned at some event Liz Bobo was putting on about the 23-story building.
placeblogger.com
(I feel like a bot just posting a URL, so to elaborate, I heard about placeblogger on the radio, and hit it to see if it had any columbia-local blogs)
I too have a Howard County Blog. I was searching Placeblogger to see what else was out there, and your site was one of only two listed. Glad to find it.

Great! It is good to hear about placeblogger.
PatapscoMike, what is your blog address? What made you decide to start a blog? I am always curious how people choose to get into this.

My blog is in it's infancy, not much to look at right now. I started it because I spend a tremendous amount of time along the Patapsco River in and around Ellicott City walking, fishing, picking mushrooms, etc. In the summer I'm down there pretty much every day. I enjoy a few other local blogs, I like to write, so why not?
Eventually, if I keep it up and generate interest, I hope to do for the river what you are doing for the City of Columbia- keep people up to speed on issues that are important to them but that they will never see anywhere else.

PatapscoMike,
Great! Welcome to the blogging world! I really think one of the treasures of blogs is the ability to provide a degree of attention on an issue and routine source of up to date info that no other medium can do. One of my favorite non-politics blogs is http://yosemiteblog.com/ which always has great pictures and info on one of my favorite places on earth.
