LD12 Senate candidates

Legislative District 12 runs from West Columbia through Elkridge into southwest Baltimore County and is split about equally between the two counties. Democratic State Senator Ed Kasemeyer has represented this district (and its predecessors) since January 1995. I wouldn't say he's safe for reelection, but nearly so. He's well-connected with the Senate leadership (such as it is), as can be seen from this source:
