The Road to Enfranchisement

The MD Senate and House of Delegates have now passed identical bills to allow all Town Center residents the right to vote in Columbia elections. The bill now needs to be signed by the Governor and this sorry tale bureaucracy will be resolved. To think as we moved towards adding 5500 new residential units to Town Center the right to vote of all these new residents was in doubt. I think it would be good for CA to make public all of their records on this matter, so that residents of Columbia are not left with the current impression that I have been hearing in the community that it was CA's inaction that allowed this mess to happen.
