Happy Valentines Day
In honor of Valentines Day:
1) What are the most romantic destinations in Howard County?
I will share one of mine in the comments later in the day.
2) Where do you enjoy taking a date in Howard County?
In the summer I love going to the soft serve icecream place on Rt. 40.

Rather ironic spam.
So I deleted the spam someone posted.
Well, I guess people were not up for answering the questions so I will save my thoughts on romantic destinations in Howard County to next year's Valentines Day.
Sorry, not much romantic in terms of places in Howard County.
Oh, I disagree. I know several. What about the other question: Date locations? I gave one and I am sure people have many others.
Romance is were ever you find it, on Main St. Ellicott City, holding hands as you walk past the great rock wall next to the sidewalk. On the back porch on an old farm house located somewhere in the county, or in the middle of a dance floor in Clarksville. Don't look for the destination, look for the mood. Catch it while you can, for when it is gone, it will never return.
Anon,
I completely agree. The one I was going to share was: Laying in a snowy field with the light from the stars and moon reflecting off the snow lighting up the landscape. There are many fields in Columbia's open space that are great for this.
Beautiful thought Evan.
Evan, have you read Fawn Brodie's book about Tom Jefferson and Sally Hemmings. She relates Jefferson's interest in the French landscapes and buildings to his love interest.
Must be a guy thing. You think, possibly, we build cities and towns not for our selves but more for the women in our lives?
