What are your favorite things to do in Howard County on the Fourth of July?
While we all enjoying time with friends and family, it is also a good time to reflect on both the courage of our Founding Fathers and the courage of other people who stand up for the right to select who governs them, such as the Iranian people have been doing for the last two weeks.

I like to post on blogs anonymously.
Me too.
Could the Anonymous twins just please grow up. If you have something to add, please feel free, but stop being childish.
When I click on Alan's name, I get this anonymous sounding message, "The Blogger Profile you requested cannot be displayed. Many Blogger users have not yet elected to publicly share their Profile."
I don't think Alan's point was that no one should be anon, his point that you should act like an adult. The first two anon comments are just antagonistic.

We get together with friends.

Happy Independence Day to all, whether Pioneers or no. We should all be Columbians...
the first two anons are antagonistic? lighten up, man. what if they were just complying with the blogger's question?
macsmom- they can only make you feel like an outsider if you let them. Sounds like you are letting them. Besides, people from all over the county (or world for that matter) can attend the lakefront activities.
Founding members of any group tend to be snobs. In this case the good new is they are now old snobs and just getting older . . .
